  Chemical Records

Keeping a record of chemical storage and use is part of overall good management practice. Hazardous substance regulations require the listing of all hazardous substances in a register along with the corresponding MSDS and risk assessment.

The attached Register of Chemicals should be used for all chemicals and the Risk Assessment completed for all hazardous substances as identified in the relevant MSDS.
Training in how to complete a risk assessment is provided as part of ChemCert training and refresher courses on Managing Chemical Risk.
The register and the accompanying MSDS must be readily available to employees.
